Hi, I’m Mariya and Life Cycles Family Support LLC is my ministry inspired by and under the patronage of St Teresa of Calcatta who opened homeopathic dispensaries for the poor of India. I am passionate about the idea that healthy families are the building blocks of healthy societies. As Mother Teresa observed, “In the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.” While discerning a call to share what I learned over my two decades of studying homeopathy from classic texts and modern teachers, applying these principles in our home while raising six children and working through my own health challenges, I was also struck by her admonition: “Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.” To that end and with the encouragement and support of my own homeopath, I started working as a lay homeopath and traditional doula in 2022. My experience and training is varied and that gives me unique insights into how to apply homeopathic principles across a broad range of issues. Because the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world and because our hormones affect so much, I particularly enjoy working with women of all ages who are looking for alternatives for optimizing their health when facing bio regulation challenges from menstrual problems to menopausal symptoms or during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Over the years I have taken classes or been enrolled in different programs such as Life Span Doulas, Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy, Lotus Health Institute and the Trinity Health Hub. But in the same way that a traditional midwife learns through apprenticeship, my primary training has been “on the job” and I do not hold a degree or formal qualification and am not certified by any homeopathic or doula certifying organization. This does not mean that my training is subpar! On the contrary, I have learned from the best classic and contemporary masters. Completely invested in the pursuit of excellence for the sake of the people I serve, I am currently pursuing cutting edge advanced studies at the Homeopathie Academie Nederland. If homeopaths had a graduate school, this would be it! I also maintain a network of very experienced homeopaths who support my work as a lay homeopathic mentor and provide supervision in complicated cases. For you as the client, this means access to some of the best minds in the homeopathic world at no extra cost! I help my clients via holistic coaching and mentorship. I may have a certain set of rare and valuable skills in the application of homeopathic methods during birth and postpartum and in acute and chronic situations, but I believe that you are the expert on your experiences and life. It is my privilege to help clients leverage those experiences to take charge of their health and reap the rewards of empowerment and freedom to pursue the higher purposes of their existence.
